Sedation Dentistry for Dental Anxiety Review
When I was ten, I was on my bicycle and got hit by a car and went overhead first and broke my two front teeth. And I was at having a a, root canal, and I was screaming. I was so nervous and screaming so loud. It was in an apartment building and so they called the police. I’m the dentist. And because I would that he just was doing and ever since then, I’ve been totally neurotic about dentists. You know, I avoided them. I didn’t go. So, my teeth were really bad. And I wasn’t gonna have anything done until I I met doctor Spitz. And, he was very reassuring and said, you know, walked me through everything, and that’s how I got here. Well, I knew there was an option. But, in my dentist who my family has been going to, his father, and, then him, that he wouldn’t do any sedation. So, he directed me here. And, the first time I came, I said no because I was just so nervous about everything. So I went to see the second guy and there wasn’t the clip. You know, there wasn’t it wasn’t he was probably an excellent dentist, very professional, but you really it’s the personal thing that makes you feel confident in your dentist. So, I came back here. All this probably took like a year, of me, you know, sort of talking. And then I came here, and, it was great. Literally, the patients that the dentist had with me was phenomenal. And, explained the same thing to me three hundred times so I would understand that really there was no problem. And that if once I got there and I couldn’t go through with it, no problem either. The fact that he could, just reassure me and not and I and just reassure me that I was all gonna be fine. So, really, the trust in the dentist, I think, was the most important thing. Incredibly easy. Literally, they, you know, they have a special doctor that comes in to give you the IV and he stays with you and you literally get the IV at like six thirty in the morning and then you go home by ten o’clock and you’re fine. And, it was really easy the thing is that it was really an easy, non threatening procedure. Well, after the You know, the first time I went, of course I was a neurotic mess but literally, everyone we all just got along. It was just like being with the family and it was great. It was like over a year’s process. Maybe five? Maybe more. I don’t I don’t even remember. Because I can’t get anything done without the being sedated. So I would come in and, that’s not true. I can after getting totally, calm and having the relationship with Doctor. Spitz, I did have an appointment where he removed a tooth without me even really knowing that was gonna happen and I was wide awake. So, when you get to that point, you know you made the right decision. I recommend to people to come here. I don’t know if they have because they’re so neurotic like me. And, you know, I can’t say it enough. It’s almost like you know that you guys think I’m lying but it’s absolutely the truth that that Doctor. Spitz, that he’s incredibly patient and steady. And he doesn’t yell at you if you say, Please just wait a minute or don’t do that or blah blah blah. And we just we hit it off. But it’s really a per it was a great personal connection. Coming to, Smile Boston, it was a life changing experience because I had horrible, horrible teeth. And now I have a really nice smile. And, for me, worth every penny because I would’ve had, you know, empty spaces in my teeth and it it was great. I I I really, really would you know, I could do a commercial for you.
