I went to see Dr. Spitz as a former dentist had convinced me to do some unnecessary work along with some that needed to be done. If that was not enough the former dentist botched the work. Doctor Spitz corrected the work and did an awesome job. I have now been with him for close to 20 years.

I have a very real fear of the dentist so haven't been in at least 8 years. I was having issues with a tooth and was convinced by others that I needed a root canal. It took all of my courage just to call and make an appointment. Right from the start I felt at ease. The person who answered the phone was very understanding. When I came in I met Leah first who was amazing and really put me at ease. And then Dr. Spitz came in and met with me, and it turns out that I didn't need a root canal and all I really needed was a good cleaning and a crown on another tooth. I came back a few days later for the cleaning which was great, and have the appointment for the crown next month. They offered me many options including gas, sedation or medication for the appointment for the crown. I feel that for the first time I may have found a dentist that I can visit regularly and who takes my anxiety and fears seriously. I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't been to the dentist because of fear or anxiety. And I would also note that they were the only dentist I found that had 100% positive reviews. Update - I had the crown done and it was absolutely painless. The gas helped tremendously with any anxiety or fear that I still had, and after it was all over I was so surprised at how good I felt. And I just went on Monday for a cleaning and had no fear or anxiety about it at all. I even heard the drill going in the next room and didn't panic. It was just a cleaning and I think that I am now completely over my fear of the dentist. Thank you so much Dr. Spitz and everyone at Smileboston!!!!

I really cannot say enough good things about Smileboston. Like...the best customer service. Everyone is SO nice and courteous, and not in a disingenuous way - I honestly feel like I'm visiting with friends when I go to the dentist. During the cleanings they check in to make sure you're feeling comfortable (Leah is great!) When I had the misfortune of needing a filling (hadn't had one in about 15 years so I was pretty nervous) Dr. Kaplan put my nerves at ease, and checked in several times to make sure I was still numb and feeling okay. She explained what she was doing and what I should expect afterwards. Scheduling appointments and billing/insurance is always a breeze. From A to Z, they nail it. Seriously, if you are looking for a dentist you will love, go to Smileboston.
