About Dr. Spitz, Boston Dental
Steven D. Spitz, DMD is a Prosthodontist and Implant Dentist. His post-doctoral studies include a two-year, full-time program at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Boston VA Medical Center, and a General Practice Residency through Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, currently teaches at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is on staff at Franciscan Children's Hospital.
Dr. Spitz has been active in the local community, where he and his wife, Laurie, have been involved with the Jordan Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea, Massachusetts and the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America (www.bgcb.org) help boys and girls, generally from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders and Starlight Starbright (www.starlightnewengland.org) raises funds which they in-turn donate 100% of the yearly proceeds to granting wishes of terminally ill children throughout the year, within the area the funds are collected.
Dr. Spitz is the New England Regional Coordinator and President of the Boston chapter of Alpha Omega Dental Organization, and has volunteered his dental services at the Boston Shelter for Homeless Veterans for 11 years.
