** An Important Message from Smileboston
Due to recent changes with our software vendor, some of our patients have experienced issues when confirming their appointments electronically via email.
It has come to our attention that our e-confirmation system asks patients to sign up for an account. This is something that our software vendor is implementing for future use. We want you to know that you do not need to sign up for an account. You can simply close that window. Your appointment has already been confirmed at this point.
The second item is an attachment in your email that allows you to add your appointment to your calendar. In theory, your appointment should move to your preferred calendar on the correct date and time. However, some of our patients have experienced issues as their appointments have been transferred to their calendars for a different time (usually an hour off). This issue depends upon the type of device and program used, and other IT factors that are beyond our control.
It is our recommendation that you double check your appointment when adding it to your calendar, or to simply add it manually. The original email reminder will always be correct.
As always, we appreciate your feedback. If you should have any further questions, please contact Andrew at 617-277-4100.
